As part of the fire strategy planning for a client site, due consideration needs to be made for the provision of drawings for the life safety provision, this is a requirement of the RRO and thus a must have for the client, these are to be updated as and when there are changes to the buildings use, occupancy or structure these need to be updated.
Zone charts are required to give clear direction as the fire alarm control areas with the building and may be colour coded depending on use, in sites with sleep in provision charts would be required atop each stairway/landing to give a direction of travel to a place of safety
