On 29th March, Fire Safety Matters hosted another webinar in it’s opening CPD series. The focus on this occasion was ‘Flexible Evacuation Solutions to Meet BS 8629’. Brian Sims reviews what was said on the day by subject matter experts from webinar sponsor Advanced and Veritas Fire Support Services.
My collaboration with Advanced Electronics in respect of their award winning Evac Go panel stretches back to the start of BS 8629 and our joint participation on the FIA working group in 2019/20.
Within the current parameters of compliance, the relationship we have allows us/me to provide fully compliant and certified design for 8629 sites under my BAFE SP207 and ensure that the client has all that is required within the design for their building.
The Advanced relationship also extends to other elements of their team covering Emergency Lighting, Pager Systems and of course Fire Alarm controls, Advanced is and remains my go-to for life safety provision and has been since the launch of Veritas in 2017.
